Prevention of Violence Against Sexual Minority Students

*      This website was created as a final project for course 427 Women and Violence at University of Washington. The following are suggested interventions for effectively and actively preventing violence targeted towards sexual minority youth.

Our assumptions:

*      Sexual minority youth deserve to grow up in an environment where they are safe and able to express themselves freely without the daily threat of abuse or violence.

*      By awarding positive behavior and not tolerating abusive and violent behavior, interventions described in these web pages could make a difference for the lives of those sexual minority youth that are just beginning their journey.
